Jordan Moore, a forward for football teams such as Dundee United, Airedrie United and Queen’s Park and who also battled skin cancer in 2014 was back in the news today for the strange events he claims to have had while trying to rejuvenate his career while recently playing for Limerick in Ireland.
Moore claims that a man threatened to ‘send him home in a box’ if he broke a treadmill, that the local pub was run by the mob and that the club would pay him some of his wages he was owed for playing by getting change from the club burger van!
Although some in Limerick have accused Moore of an overactive imagination about their home and making up stories to explain why he left Limerick and went back to Scotland, Moore also talked about how the old convent the club had him stay in was haunted and that a nun had committed suicide in the very room he slept in!
Haunted dolls and puppets are very popular in our culture.
We have the infamous Annabelle, who when not terrifying people is kept in the Warren ‘Museum,’ to that crazy creepy clown from the original Poltergeist film, these former playthings of children have become the stuff on nightmares.
It makes sense that the paranormal world would latch onto dolls at times for it’s muses because some dolls and puppets can indeed look downright creepy. There is a even a specific phobia for this fear of dolls called pediophobia and for their stringing up counterparts there is Pupaphobia.
Of course, the above phobias are a real psychological condition, while most of the legends surrounding the other haunted toys are probably only real in our imaginations.
However, a British paranormal investigator who specializes in haunted dolls says she has captured one particular puppet moving on it’s own on video.
It may only be June and we have yet to even pass the Fourth of July, but ABC and Fremantle Media are already thinking about October and all the spookiness that comes with it.
The production company is looking for Halloween yard displays and amateur walk through attractions to feature in a new Fright Night reality show which has yet to be named.
Similar to the show The Great Christmas Light Fight, the show will focus on finding the best Halloween decor and give the lucky winner fifty-thousand dollars for their efforts.
Now that is a treat!

Happy Haunting and good luck!
Las Vegas, Nevada is home to some pretty amazing spectacles and shows. It is a purely entertainment driven town, providing fun and something interesting around every corner.
The Luxor Hotel is one Las Vegas destination that might have gotten a little more then they bargained for when they opened an exhibit of relics and exhibits from and related to the Titanic.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition includes recreated first and third class rooms done by the original manufacturers, recreations of the grand staircase and other major areas of the ship and even pats of the Titanic’s hull dragged up from the wreckage site.
But some guests and employees have reported ghostly goings on at the exhibition since it opened in 2008.
While staying in a Soho hotel during a 2009 tour, singer and actress Miley Cyrus claims that she also had a meeting with the supernatural as well, including seeing the ghost of a little boy and doing a little investigative work on the property, a former bakery.
For most of us, toy stores conjure up childhood images of fun, freedom and imagination.
However, a Toys R Us location in Sunnyvale California has become more well known as a place of terror then pleasure.
It is said that a ghost resides in the shop, a ghost searching for a lost love.
A ghost that during an investigation by well known psychic Sylvia Browne just happened to have his picture taken and became one of the most well known paranormal photographs in the world.
Ng Goon Lau, sixty two, used to work the Hong Kong real estate market to his advantage. He had no financial problems and although his path to riches was a bit off the beaten path, it certainly worked like a charm.
Ng bought and sold real estate in one of the most superstitious cities in China, if not the world. So Ng made use of this fact by dealing in property that he could buy at remarkable discounts.
Because the property’s Ng dealt in were said to be haunted.

Some places are just perfect for a ghost story or the perfect location for a excellent ghost photograph. Well, nothing quite says ‘haunted’ like the trappings of the American Old West, with it’s tales of ghost towns abandoned after the money went dry in those areas and the body count created by the outlaw atmosphere that prevailed there.
One infamous and easily debated evidence of ghosts in an old west setting was the one taken at Boothill Cemetery in 1996 when Ike Clanton posed for a picture on the old burial site.
However they did not count on the mysterious figure in the background, dressed in clothing similar to those worn in the Old West and holding a knife.
It seems that for some reason, ghosts just love going down to a pub for a drink just like the rest of us, but it seems some also want to play bartender and pose for photographs as well!
That appears to be the case with the spirited spirit that haunts the Apsley House in Southsea, Hants, where the alleged ghost of a former barman tops off your drinks.

Fortunately, I had the privilege of living very close to Bachelors Grove cemetery for many years and have visited it quite a few times. In fact, the first time I was there is the only time in my life that I might have had a ‘paranormal’ experience that I could not chalk up to circumstance or something logical and simple.
Bachelors Grove is also a tale of neglect and being forgotten, swept away by the constant march of time. It as much an ‘abandoned place’ as a haunted location.
