Ghostly Pics: Hampton Court Ghost

This infamous ghost image took the internet by storm in 2003. It was originally published in the Chicago Sun-Times on December 21st of that year and was said to be a still of CCTV footage from the Hampton Court Palace, located on the Thames river in London, England.

Although the Hampton Court is ripe with tales of ghostly apparitions and strange occurrences, the picture of the robed figure was immediately a topic for debate for both believers and skeptics alike.

Was it an excellent ghost photograph or a clever hoax?

Naked Doctor Who Fans on Twitter? (Updated)

The BBC television series Doctor Who has become a cultural icon around the world and more and more proof of it’s expanding reach can be found with how it has spread out online.

The show, which was originally broadcast way back in 1963 has a cult following of rabid fans that literally live and breathe the show, especially after it’s return to our television screen in 2005.

But like all icons, you know it has really hit the big time when the show finds its way into the stranger parts of modern culture, such as what appears to be a ploy to lure male Doctor Who fans onto a pornographic website to see naked female Doctor Who fans.

No seriously.

Painted Ghost Returns

Alan Smith would see the apparition around one A.M at Heale House, a historic English estate.

The appearances of the ghost were always accompanied by the sound of the music of Chopin as she walked the corridors and stalked the bedrooms, according to Smith himself:
