News From the Spirit World is still a young and inexperienced websites as far as web life and growth go, but we have quickly learned that there is a subculture for anything scary and creepy that goes hand in hand with the paranormal.
With that in mind, I just figured I’d give space to some of those who love the paranormal but do things in other fields, usually with a frighting or disturbing tie in.
One such venture is Weird Avenue, a collection of artwork drawn by Christopher Marsh, who sells his wares at this website.
Of all the supernatural creatures that are known about, I reckon that Vampires are quite possibly the most well known.
The literary creation of John William Polidari (one time physician to Lord Byron) and popularized by Bram Stoker, the Vampire has blazed a trail through books, movies, cartoons, comics and theater productions for much of the 20th century and is still going strong in the 21st. YA fiction in particular has adopted the vampire with gusto, turning them from blood sucking horrors that lurk in the night to sexy, angst ridden anti heroes. Needless to say, everyone knows all about Vampires.

Today I was doing the usual, saving the Earth from aliens, watching for signs of Bigfoot in the bushes outside my window and surfing the internet, when I discovered that a common search term to get to this site was “Ghost Sex.”
I posted this neat little fact on Facebook (which I haunt like Lord Combermere’s Ghost lately) and a couple of friends commented, prompting me to use the search term myself. To my amazement, an item that fit the bill for content on NFSW was right there in front of me, a famous pop star named Kes$ha, who had claimed to have had “Ghost Sex.”
Greetings and welcome to the month of October!
This month we hope to present articles on all the little things that make Halloween so great with our “31 Days of Halloween”!
We were fortunate enough to have some help in that regard, so we start out with a article by Doctor Jo Bath about one of the most iconic Halloween symbols…witches!
