The San Francisco Police Department are informing residents about a scam involving the paranormal.
A group of Chinese Women have been scamming victims in the city’s Sunset District, and it seems their ‘activity’ is more criminal then paranormal.
Kells Irish pub was once the site of a mortuary in the early 1900’s and has become one of the most well known haunted locations in Seattle.
The ghosts here have caused mirrors and bar glasses to break, pulled plaster right down from the walls and ceiling and have even appeared at the bar for a drink to lift their spirits.
Here at News From the Spirit World we encourage people to seek out the truth about strange events and interesting places, but we also encourage you not to try to make any money from it.
At least not without a permit.
This helpful hint seemed to escape Matt Pruitt, who went with around thirty or so people in tow to the Buffalo National River in Arkansas to hunt for Bigfoot. Some of the people on this expedition say they paid payed between $300 to $500 dollars to be part of a three day hunt for the legendary Sasquatch.
However, since Pruitt did not have any legal permission to charge people for such tours, he was slapped with a violation from Forest Rangers Billy Bell and Ben Henthorne after a concessionaire in the Steel Creek Campground area had met a couple of park goers who told him about the Bigfoot expedition.
Pruitt is reported to have connections to The Bigfoot Field Researcher’s Organization.

A fourteen year old boy from Weslaco Texas attempted to murder his fifteen year old friend in a wooded area behind their high school one afternoon.
The teen confessed to trying to murder the older boy, but told police that the “Ouija Board made me do it.”
A fragment of a dome like object was discovered in a forest near Siberia.
Residents from that area were told to move the 440 pound object to the village to wait for it to be collected by the government.
The object, which has been deemed NOT to be radioactive and made at least partially of Titanium, is now under armed police guard.
Roscosmos, the Russian Federal Space Agency, stated that:
“The object found is not related to space technology. A final conclusion can be made after a detailed study of the object by experts,”
“You can see inside it, all is open, it’s empty, no danger here. We were asked to take and store it. We brought it here. And now we are going to wait until they come to take it if they need it,”
The Nain Rouge, or the Red Dwarf, is a urban legend that began way back in 1701.
It involves the city of Detroit and the city’s founder, Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac. According to legend, Cadillac had a run in with the red colored creature while settling in the Motor City way before it was the…uh Motor City.
The legend of Amelia Earhart and her disappearance in her Lockheed Electra while trying to fly around the world in 1937 has become infamous to generations of people. Every theory from mechanical failure to UFO’s has been thrown out there and yet no one has conclusively closed the case.
But US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton knows which theory she is backing.
A majority of passengers on a plane flying from the UK to the Island of Cyprus, including the pilots, saw a mysterious object in the air with them. The picture below is apparently of the light beams that the unidentified flying object ‘shot’ at the plane.
The object was also observed flying through the air at very high speeds.

An article in The Guardian caught my eye today and I felt it had relevance to this blog for a number of reasons. First of all, the title, Precognition studies and the curse of the failed replications, definitely hinted at a link to the spirit world and the accompanying photograph of a spiritualist gazing into a crystal ball only added to that appearance. Secondly, the main meat of the article touched on something very close to my heart with regards to parapsychology and any research into the spirit world – the importance of good science.

Email has become a basic part of our lives in the modern world.
But one function that probably was not on the minds of its first users and creators was to enable the living to talk to the dead.
However that is exactly what Jack Froese did when he sent a series of creepy emails to friends and relatives nine months after his death in 2009.
Christopher Lutz was just seven years old when he lived in the house at 112 Ocean Ave in Amityville, and now he wants to tell his side of what really happened in the house that became the basis for the film The Amityville Horror…
Lucille Herrmann was also pretty young at just 13 years of age when the ‘Popper’ poltergeist changed her family’s life forever in 1958, a story later to be made into the film Poltergeist in 1982…

A woman in China, thought to be dead, crawled out of her coffin to cook herself a meal, because apparently death makes one very hungry indeed.
“It had fangs, claws and wings, and moved very quickly.”
That is how one witness described the creature that allegedly killed thirty-five sheep in the early hours of March, 1st, 2012 in the Mexican town of Paracuaro.
We all love the Statue Of Liberty, that shining beacon of hope and freedom that greeted so many of the immigrants as they came to America.
But Amanda Whittaker loves Lady Liberty in a way that many might find a bit strange.
Whittaker suffers from objectum sexuality, a rare condition that causes the person to fall in love with inanimate objects rather then people.
September 9th always seems a busy night for the police in Peterborough,Cambridgeshire, as recently almost every year it seems that at least one police record for that day contains the word ‘ghost’.
The Starchild Skull, believed to the skull of an alien child found in Mexico in 1930′ might have been a lost child visitor to Earth or the result of Human/Alien breeding or just the remains of a deformed Human child.
It has sat in the earth for 120 million years and when it was alive it had a wing span of 13 to 16 feet and is a part of the ancient Pterosaurs family of reptiles.
This creature is the Guidraco venator, which when translated from Chinese means “ghost dragon hunter” and it is one of the most amazing fossil finds in recent times.

It is said that ghosts and spirits will cling to the places they once lived, be it because they are trapped there or these are the only ‘homes’ that they feel they can go to and feel safe.
It is not surprising then, to hear that a demolition crew in Kendal, Cumbria had a run in with the ghost of a woman who used to run the boarding house they were there to knock down, even getting the spooky ghost photo at the top of this article which appears to show the blurred form of a woman peering out from the half destroyed structure.

Is the seventy or so years of the overall Human lifespan not enough time for you to do everything you want? Did you spend the first three decades sucking down ‘Doritos’ and now want a little extra time to redeem yourself?
Russian entrepreneur Dmitry Itskov believes that the technology will be available for a human to transplant his brain into a robotic host in a decades time.
